Catch Cirque du Soleil's Toruk - The First Flight Before It Takes Off

Immerse yourself in the world of Pandora for a limited time in Manila with Cirque du Soleil's Toruk - The First Flight! With shows only until July 2, you should consider getting your tickets right now.

Based on James Cameron's Avatar, Toruk - The First Flight explores different Na'vi tribes by telling the story of how the Tree of Souls is saved by the young Ralu and Entu.

Learning about the show, I wasn't interested with it initially. I did enjoy Avatar but I'm not a big fan of it. It was only after seeing the trailer that I was sure that I wanted to see it:
This is only the second time Cirque du Soleil is in town if my memory is correct and I missed it the first time. There was no chance I let this one pass by me again. That decision led me to arguably, the most satisfying sensory experience I've gotten in any kind of show.

The Mall of Asia Arena turned into a portal that put me on Pandora. It gave me a chance to explore its water and land forms, its wildlife, and its different cultures. Toruk's highly innovative stage was full of surprises. Water and fire became real with the realistic projections. The audio got me wanting to look all around me. Its clarity fit the excellent quality of the production. And, being a Cirque du Soleil production, the movement was beyond amazing.

So as not to give away everything, I did not edit my raw camera phone pics. Just check how these would be witnessed by the naked eye:

To make the show even more interesting, Toruk - The First Flight encouourages you to download their app and be able to participate during the show. Just search for Toruk, choose the one made by Cirque du Soleil, enter the date of the performance you're watching, and your seat number. It's that precise. Follow the notifications on the app and it'll prompt you on how to actually be part of the show. It would even alert you if it's time to go back to your seat during the break.

As per SM Tickets, the best seats are about 7,400 pesos a piece. That's right about the same price you paid for the best seats for a show like WIcked and it's actually a steal as this is a more sensory experience.

Go and get your tickets now! You only have until July 2 to watch!
