Jihad Mambuay's "Palakpak" is a commentary on how the Spoken Word scene is in the Philippines. We all love a great pouring of emotions on stage, but do we see and appreciate how much work is put into every piece?
Leondro Reyes' "Umpisa, Gitna, Dulo" is an exploration of how words in different parts of a sentence may shift meanings, even when unexpected.
