Nicole Laurel Asensio releases single "See Through" with Grammy Award-nominated producer Blue Hamilton on March 19

Award-winning singer-songwriter and all-around performer Nicole Laurel Asensio is set to release a brand new single entitled "See Through" under Warner Music Philippines on March 19.

In 6 months, Nicole has released four singles with cinematic music videos, and her merchandise line has been launched. In the same timeframe, she has been part of over 20 online events, including fundraisers and online concerts. In television, Nicole is part of Cignal Play's latest offering, Afterlife.

The song started when a comment popped in one of Nicole's Instagram posts. It mentioned praise, and the handle was familiar. To Nicole's surprise, it was the real account Blue Hamilton, the Grammy-nominated multi-platinum record producer! Through that moment of communication, a friendship formed, and their conversations led to talking about a collaboration. Nicole sent demo lyrics and melodies, and they settled with "See Through." Blue made a few adjustments, and Blue had the first draft of the song recorded.

Nicole and Blue's experiences were the epitome of what collaboration is. They were gracious and sharing their talent and expertise as they navigated in the direction of making the track raw yet powerful. Despite thy physical distance, it seemed natural for them to find each other and create beautiful music together. I am pretty hopeful that this would happen again in the future.

As this is a Nicole Laurel Asensio track, it was natural that we should see an elegant music video with the always equally-elegant song. You can expect visions of the person of the song's moments of recovering from a failed relationship. Words would be simple, and in its honesty, they would cut deep.

"See Through" will be out on Spotify and Apple Music on March 19, 2021, under Warner Music Philippines.

The music video will launch on Facebook Live and the Nicole Asensio YouTube channel on March 23, 2021.
