Celebrating 90 Years of Theatrical Excellence: FEU Theater Guild Restages "Agnoia"

Inspired by Eli Rueda Guieb III's short story "Horoscope," this theatrical masterpiece unfolds in a more intimate setting, inviting the audience to witness the intricate dance of relationships and fate.

Under the Guidance of Artistic Director Mr. Dudz Teraña
Guided by the visionary Mr. Dudz Teraña, the Artistic Director of FTG, the organization has consistently pushed boundaries since 2009. A senior member of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), Teraña has played a crucial role in enhancing college experimental productions and introducing full-length major plays that have set remarkable standards in the university theater scene.

Focus on Intimacy and Legacy
For the 90th season, Teraña has chosen to restage "Agnoia" in a more intimate manner, placing emphasis on the text and acting to encapsulate the rich legacy of the organization. According to him, "The people who worked behind the FEU Theater Guild throughout the years deserve to be celebrated. This restaging is a tribute to them and their contributions."


Exploring the Cosmic Tapestry of "Agnoia"
"Agnoia" weaves a cosmic tapestry of secrets, horoscopes, behaviors, responses, affairs, and fates, unfolding the perplexing world of pronoia and agnoia. This theatrical journey mirrors larger-than-life dilemmas of family, identity, love, and fate itself, promising the audience a captivating exploration of self-discovery.

Talented Cast Bringing Zodiac Signs to Life
The cast, comprised of talented individuals from various FEU colleges, breathes life into the Zodiac signs. From Taurus to Pisces, each character adds a unique flavor to the play. Expect noteworthy performances from RB Pascua, Arvin Javier, Aaron Bayani, Martin Falqueza, Kirstan Orbegoso, Drea Achas, Dianne Andallo, Maria Mayano, Meldy Malig, Kesiah Aritao, Davewyn Macawile, Jonas Cunanan, Adam Labador, John Cedric Guevarra, Brigitta Marilla, Evonne Gutierrez, Caleb Flores, Jharelle Villalobos, Julia Ramas, Jazzie Alejo, Lorenze Moral, and Renz Vanneze Dotillos.

Behind the Scenes and Support
Behind the scenes, the dedicated production team, led by Marj Uson, Kirstian Samson, Maria Mayano, Millicent Roxas, and Aaron Bayani, works tirelessly to ensure the success of "Agnoia." The invaluable support from Far Eastern University and the FEU Center for the Arts has been crucial in bringing this production to life.

"Agnoia" will be showcased at the FEU Center for the Arts Studio, Ground Floor, Engineering Building, on February 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, March 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 16, 21, 22, & 23, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets are priced at 200 PHP for the FEU Community and 400 PHP for guests.
