NIYEBE: Isang Musikal – A Story of Love, Loss, and Identity Opens February 12
The Far Eastern University Theater Guild (FTG) launches its 91st season with the experimental play “Niyebe: Isang Musikal” , an adaptation of a Gabriel Garcia Márquez short story. This groundbreaking musical will run from February 12 to March 27, 2025, at the FEU Center for the Arts Studio. Blending music, choreography, and a unique narrative style, this production is led by Dudz Teraña , who serves as director, writer, lyricist, and choreographer. The story is brought to life with music by Vince Lim , complemented by choreography from Carlon Matobato , and supported by a cast of talented FEU students and alumni. A Love Story with a Tragic Turn Set in the unforgiving winter of Europe, Niyebe: Isang Musikal tells the story of newlyweds Billy Sanchez and Nena Deconte. What begins as a honeymoon ends in despair when a minor injury leads to Nena’s untimely death.
