100 Days of Weight Improvement

About 100 days ago, I was at my biggest at approximately 132 kg. Everyone who knows me could attest that I lived to eat.

At @hanamaruken_ph yesterday. Thank you, @tahoboi Di, for the shot!

I couldn't find an actual before pic but here's an "uma-anggulo" saulfie that I took the day before I started giving thought to what I consume. Please excuse the scruffiness.

The following day was the start of my diet. My weapon of choice to combat my weight was Diet Buddy PH.

Like every diet, the first few weeks would be like torture. I was so used to eating a whole lot of food without restrictions and there I was forcing myself to 1200 calories from the food delivery and counting up to 1600 per day. It was torture, but a happy torture that I started to appreciate.

Diet Buddy PH was what their name suggests. It's a convenient, affordable, easy-to-talk-to food delivery service that came up as the best choice by a friend who researched the ones available in the Metro. I've also tried to inquire with other delivery services but it was only Diet Buddy that has great customer service. Some would not even reply but this one was very consistent in accommodating inquiries and the eventual orders I made. Another good thing is that they allow deliveries to Paranaque for a minimal additional fee.

My daily food delivery would be sent to my office or to my home from Mon-Fri except holidays. I love how varied the food are every week and even if it was diet food, all meals were tasty. A dietician and a nutritionist check the menu so I'm sure that I don't get useless calories. Once you've adjusted to the portion sizes, you won't really have that diet mentality. Here's a sample of their weekly menu:

It was not without struggle. There were weigh-ins where my weight went up but that would be because I knew I ate too much. Diet Buddy helps a lot in putting me back on track. Despite already changing my belt size, I still have a long way to go.

This was taken a few days ago with 20.8 kg gone. My target weight 83.4 kg is still way in the future but I know it's definitely achievable.
