Prepare to be entertained by the latest Original Pilipino Musicale this year! Stages Production Specialists, Inc. brings to you this weekend (September 25-27) Chuva Choo Choo, The Mr. Kupido Musicale featuring the songs of Vehnee Saturno.
Joining Stages and the undeniably talented Vehnee Saturno are the multi-awarded director George de Jesus III, and the renowned producer Alvin Trono.

 It was a wonderful experience to have witnessed the first-rate talent of Ms. Joanna Ampil up-close. Morissette Amon fully delivers and amazes as she proves that she is at home on stage. Joanna and Morissette headlines the show as sisters who search for fame and true love. Their quest takes a sharp turn when they witness an event where that they have no choice but to run away from. Their misadventures continue to take unexpected turns that leave the audience laughing and in awe!


The sisters go through different crises in their family, professional, and of course, love lives.
Veterans Jojo Riguerra, Ross Pesigan, Juliene Mendoza, Ron Alfonso, Jay Marquez, Via Antonio, and newcomer to theater, Edward Benosa add color to the show with every song, quip, and movement. No one dominates the stage as every actor is able to show his or her talent fully. Even if this is Edward's first time to be part of a play, his voice and acting skills shine through.
The show warms up with a production of Isang Lahi and Mr. Kupido, naturally. It gains momentum when one of the characters of Via Antonio appears on stage. The whole cast picks up speed and displays more energy with every banter, naturally thrown line, and surprise. Performances continue to become grander and the audience's laughter get louder as the play progress. The whole show is a little less than 3 hours but you'll be so entertained that you won't realize it. Bring a jacket since the theater could get really cold.
Chuva Choo Choo is the first to be staged at the Power Mac Center Spotlight black box theater located at the emerging Circuit Makati. Seating 300 people, this intimate venue puts the show literally closer to every person watching.
