PETA's latest musical production, "Walang Aray," will be back for its second leg of shows from April 14 to May 14, 2023, at the PETA-Phinma Theater in Quezon City, Philippines. This musical marks PETA's return to live performances after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Are you ready to be entranced once again? This April, ENCANTADA takes the stage once more to celebrate Earth Month. This dance performance showcases the Neo-Ethnic Dance Style of National Artist for Dance Agnes Locsin as she explores Filipino folklore, history, and culture while also bringing awareness to the destruction of nature caused by human activities. ENCANTADA was first premiered in 1992, created by a trio of brilliant Filipino artists: Agnes Locsin, Joey Ayala, and Al Santos. Agnes Locsin pioneered the Neo-Ethnic dance style, which reworked Philippine tribal dances, practices, beliefs, and stories into the framework of classical ballet and modern dance techniques. Hamilton Comes to Asia: Manila to Host Asian Premiere in September

Get ready to be in the room where it happens, as the Tony®, Grammy®, Olivier, and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, Hamilton, is set to make its Asian premiere in Manila this September. The announcement was made by the producers of Hamilton, who stated that the show would have a strictly limited season at The Theatre at Solaire. Hamilton has been making waves across the globe since its premiere on Broadway in 2015. After a successful southern hemisphere premiere in Sydney in March 2021 and tours in Melbourne and Brisbane, Hamilton is now embarking on its first-ever international tour, starting in Auckland in May. Directed by Allan Nazareno and Vincent Paul D. Gaton, this comedy-drama by Robert Harling is set to be staged in Cebu on April 1 and 2, 2023, at the CINEWOF Theater in Marcelo Fernan Press Center, Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City. After two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has led to a global health crisis, Dulaang UP reopened its doors through the staging of Floy Quintos' The Reconciliation Dinner at the University Theater Main Hall Stage in November 2022.  After the successful run of The Reconciliation Dinner, Dulaang UP's first offering for its 45th theatre season, we are excited to be back on stage with an adaptation of Dean Francis Alfar's How Rosang Taba Won a Race, a children's story that amplifies the voices of the oppressed. The FEU Theater Guild (FTG), the longest-running organization in the University-Belt, celebrates its 89th founding anniversary. Known from titular productions such as Usapang X, Confession, Ang Pinakamakisig sa mga Nalunod sa Buong Daigdig, and Kung Paano Maghiwalay and widely regarded of both the Far Eastern University (FEU) and guests. Despite theater’s two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the organization aimed to reintroduce itself to the FEU Community with its theater laboratory, Tamdula V: Muli. FTG’s return and reacquaintance was successful in reestablishing its place in the performing arts.
