This special performance is a heartfelt tribute to his late paternal grandmother, Lola Daidy, who played a significant role in shaping Dingdong's musical journey. Join us on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 6 pm at the Manila Pianos showroom in Makati City for an unforgettable evening of classical masterpieces.

The Inspiration Behind the Concert:
Lola Daidy, affectionately known as such, was not only instrumental in raising Dingdong physically but also intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Dingdong reminisces about the Sundays spent playing for his lola in Ormoc during the pandemic—a touching gesture that evolved into twelve solo recitals this year. The concert serves as a tribute to Lola Daidy's strength, grace, perseverance, and above all, filial piety.

The Repertoire:
The evening promises a soul-stirring experience with a carefully curated selection of piano works by renowned composers such as Adinsell, Brahms, Buencamino, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and more. These pieces hold a special place in Dingdong's heart, reflecting the profound influence of classical music instilled in him by his grandmother at an early age.

About Dingdong Fiel:
Dingdong Fiel is not just a concert pianist; he is a versatile artist—a composer, musical director, orchestra conductor, and vocalist. His musical journey began at the UST Conservatory of Music, where he earned his Bachelor of Music Degree with the highest academic average. He continued his studies in Germany, honing his skills in solo piano and chamber music.

Dingdong has achieved significant recognition, winning five first prizes in various piano competitions. His performances have taken him across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the USA, showcasing his talent and passion for music.

As a composer, Dingdong has created original works for both his concerts and international film festivals. Notably, he received acclaim for his scoring of the French film "JEAN D’ARC" at the International Silent Film Festival Manila.

In addition to his instrumental prowess, Dingdong is a vocalist and songwriter for the bands HARI and BLUE VIOLET BLUE. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, he continues to make waves in the music industry, earning invitations for online singing fundraisers and live performances.
