My first giveaway was a success!
In collaboration with Leo, we were able to spread the joy of theater last November 5 with Trumpets’ The Horse and His Boy!
In a word, the experience was nostalgic. Being a graduate of Zobel, I was exposed to yearly school productions at the Meralco Theater. Trumpets also was the biggest theater company that I knew growing up. I fondly remember watching and immensely enjoying Honk! Like several of the people watching last Thursday, I also saw The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe years back.
Today, kids and kids at heart are blessed by Aslan with The Horse and His Boy. CS Lewis’ fantastic book and the incomparable talent of Trumpets brings every viewer through a very #EpicRide!
The trend on the recent plays that I have seen is to enable more of the viewer’s imagination with having less props. The Horse and His Boy goes against this by having grand props and unusual movements. The wonderful combination of 3-man horses, shadows, puppets, engaging choreography transports you o the grandeur of Calorman, Archenland, and Narnia! At the age of 29, I am still astonished by every scene. Every movement, especially Aslan’s is majestic!
Sharing this magic to amazing winners is the reason giveaways exist. Thanks to borderless Social Media, I was able to share joy to a couple from beyond the SCTEX and a Mother and Daughter from beyond the SLEX.
With Aslan of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe production of 19 years ago! The Horse and His boy is A MUST SEE!!...

It was definitely a privilege to be able to see The Horse and His Boy in all its theatrical splendor. Thank you, TIto Toots!
As Aslan would say it, "Do not dare not to dare." Do not dare miss the triumphal return of the Chronicles of Narnia!
REMINDER: Our matinee show tomorrow, unlike the rest, is at 4PM. See you all at the theater!
