The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) has officially opened auditions for their highly anticipated 2024 production, "One More Chance, The Musical." This transformative musical adaptation, featuring the music of the acclaimed Filipino band Ben&Ben, is set to bring a fresh perspective to the cult-classic film.

Casting Call Information

Audition Dates:
Starting from Monday, November 20, 2024

Submission Deadline:
November 26 at 11:59 p.m.

Live Auditions:
December 4–5 at the PETA Theater Center

Roles Up for Grabs
Aspiring performers have the opportunity to embody iconic characters such as Popoy, Basha, the Thursday Barkada, and various ensemble roles. The musical promises to encapsulate the emotional depth of the original film, enhanced by the soul-stirring melodies and award-winning compositions of Ben&Ben.

Audition Requirements
Applicants are required to submit a video audition showcasing their vocal talent by performing 16 bars (or 1 stanza and 1 chorus) of a Ben&Ben or Original Pilipino Music (OPM) song. Additionally, a choreographed segment of 4 bars set to contemporary modern music is to be included. Detailed instructions and the submission link can be found here.

Live Audition Experience
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to perform live at the PETA Theater Center on December 4–5. This phase of the auditions aims to assess not only vocal abilities but also on-the-spot performance skills and stage presence.
