Uncovering the Story of Two Men Trapped in a Tiny Cell: "Nawawalang Gabi, Ninakaw na Araw" by Dulaang Laboratoryo
Theater enthusiasts and those who appreciate thought-provoking performances are in for a treat as Dulaang Laboratoryo stages "Nawawalang Gabi, Ninakaw na Araw," a live performance adaptation of Joshua Lim So’s Palanca award-winning script "Araw-Araw, Gabi-Gabi." This play tells the story of two men, one in his mid-40s and a younger man in his early 20s, abducted by paramilitary units on trumped-up rebellion charges. They were imprisoned in a tiny windowless cell with a light bulb that was perpetually switched on and subjected to torture by their sadistic captors. The play asks how long they can hold on before they break themselves. Will they ever break free from this and live their everyday lives again?

Brian Arda serves as the dramaturg, with Cris Ramon as the production designer, Cedric Jacobo as the lighting designer, Jack Alvero as the sound designer, and Jack Yabut as the fight choreographer.
