While the official opening night is set for Thursday, September 21, the excitement and fervor in the air were palpable during the show's first performance. Filipinos, who have eagerly awaited this moment since the season was announced in March, couldn't contain their enthusiasm as they welcomed this revolutionary musical to their shores.

"Good things come to those who wait, and I know Hamilton's Filipino fans have been waiting patiently for this moment to arrive," said Michael Cassel, the producer of Hamilton's international tour. The Manila audiences responded with warmth, enthusiasm, and generosity, setting the stage for an extraordinary run of this groundbreaking production in Asia.

The international tour of Hamilton is set to continue at The Theatre at Solaire until November. Unfortunately, further extensions beyond this period are not possible, so fans in the Philippines are encouraged to secure their tickets soon. After captivating audiences in Manila, Hamilton will make its Middle East premiere at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi in January 2024. Hamilton first premiered on Broadway in August 2015 and quickly garnered critical acclaim and a dedicated fan following. The show has received prestigious awards, including Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Awards, as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Its unique blend of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway music has created a revolutionary theatrical experience that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's brilliant combination of book, music, and lyrics, along with the direction of Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, have brought Alexander Hamilton's story to life on stage. The musical is based on Ron Chernow's acclaimed biography, adding depth and authenticity to the storytelling.

The creative team behind Hamilton previously collaborated on the 2008 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, "In the Heights." Their synergy and talent have once again resulted in a theatrical masterpiece that continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

The production's scenic design by David Korins, costume design by Paul Tazewell, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Nevin Steinberg, and hair and wig design by Charles G. LaPointe contribute to the visual and auditory spectacle that is Hamilton.

The international tour of Hamilton is produced by Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs, Jill Furman, The Public Theater, and Michael Cassel. The Manila season is presented by Michael Cassel Group and GMG Productions.
