FEU Bamboo Band Serenades You with "Ang Tangi Kong Ikaw": A Free Kundiman Concert
Calling all music lovers! The Far Eastern University Center for the Arts and Far Eastern University Bamboo Band (FBB) are thrilled to present a special concert titled "Ang Tangi Kong Ikaw" this coming Saturday, May 4th, at 6:00 PM in the FEU Auditorium.
This free concert commemorates two milestones: the 96th anniversary of Far Eastern University and the 75th year of the FEU Auditorium. Get ready for a nostalgic evening as the FBB takes you on a musical journey through the beloved Kundiman, a genre of treasured Filipino art songs.
Following the success of their "Let It BEatles!" concert last year, the FBB returns with a fresh repertoire under the guidance of their Artistic Director, Mr. Norberto Cads, Jr. He's a renowned bamboo music expert who has graced international expositions and festivals with the Banda Kawayan Pilipinas.
Witness the dedication of these talented student members who come from diverse backgrounds like Nursing, Psychology, Hotel and Restaurant Management, and more. They are not music majors but have poured at least 12 hours a week throughout the year to prepare for this special performance.
The FBB will also be joined by special guests Mr. Jhon Mark Isla, an FCA Pillar and FEU Drum and Bugle Corps (2018) alumnus, and Mr. Koowie Relevo, the current Assistant Artistic Director of the FEU Drum and Bugle Corps (2017).
Don't miss this opportunity to experience the magic of Kundiman music reinterpreted by the talented FEU Bamboo Band.
