The highly anticipated return of Miss Saigon to Manila has been a resounding success, with exhilarated Filipino audiences welcoming Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production with open arms. Since premiering at The Theatre at Solaire last week, the musical has received rave reviews from local press praising its powerful performances and dazzling production values.

GMA News hailed it as "a modern masterpiece in musical theater," while TheaterFansManila declared it "easily one of the best touring productions that has come by our shores." PEP.ph highlighted how "this latest revival of Miss Saigon showcases the enduring magic of the material and how it continues to excite and dazzle audiences across continents, even after more than three decades."

The stellar cast has been a particular highlight, with SPOT.ph describing them as "nothing short of stellar." Tatler Philippines praised their "bravery in portraying the characters' plight with high emotion and sustained levels of tension and control." Particular acclaim went to Abigail Adriano as Kim, with The Daily Tribune lauding her "heartfelt and heart-wrenching" rendition of "I'd Give My Life for You." Seann Miley Moore as The Engineer also garnered praise for his "shrewd, funny, and at times sympathetic" portrayal.

In the lead-up to opening night, Adriano spoke about the immense responsibility of portraying the iconic Kim. "I feel a sense of duty to do justice to my character and the story I tell. But also to be true to myself and honest about how I feel, how Kim would feel in that moment," she said.

With no further extensions planned, Miss Saigon's limited Manila season at The Theatre at Solaire runs only until May 12th. Extremely limited tickets remain available exclusively through TicketWorld, with best availability for mid-week performances. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the soaring music and epic storytelling that has made Miss Saigon a global phenomenon.
