"TAMnan: Yugto ng Pag-aani" - FEU Dance Company's Annual Showcase Celebrates Growth and Harvest
Under the artistic direction of Deborah Afuang and a talented team of choreographers, including Sean Marc Pescador, Ronieth Dayao, El Bautista, Adelaine Perez, Tonnie Padayao, Xyron Godfrey Apostol, Johann Jabrica, Stephanie Palconit, and FDC alumnus Danyel Reyes, the concert takes the audience on a journey through the core stages of planting.
"TAMnan: Yugto ng Pag-aani" serves as a metaphor for the phases of life and community development, mirrored through the movement language of the Company's current student artists. The word "TAMnan" signifies the act of planting a seed, a necessary step before growth can begin. Conversely, "Pag-aani" refers to the act of harvesting fruit, a symbolic portrayal of overcoming challenges and embracing individuality to ultimately flourish and bloom.
Through this poignant narrative, the FEU Dance Company aims to depict human struggles as an integral part of the development process. By celebrating diversity and unity, the concert illustrates that embracing our unique journeys and supporting one another allows us to grow and thrive.
This exceptional showcase promises to be a celebration of individuality through dance and a commemoration of the power of nurturing the culture we have planted and continuously nurtured.
Tickets for the FEU Community are priced at P100, while tickets for other guests are P150. For tickets and more information, visit https://feudancecompany.crd.co/#register.
