The Far Eastern University (FEU) Drum and Bugle Corps (DBC), known for their dynamic performances in outdoor arenas, is set to make a powerful return to the prestigious FEU Auditorium. On September 28, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, the FEU DBC will showcase their versatility in a free concert titled "From the Field to the Concert Hall."

For nearly 90 years, the FEU DBC has captivated audiences with their energetic field performances. Now, the concert marks a bold evolution of their artistry, as they bridge the gap between the traditional outdoor shows and the refined atmosphere of a concert hall. Attendees will witness a unique blend of brass and percussion music, enhanced by the artistic flair of the color guard's dance routines.

The concert repertoire, specially arranged for the Corps, will feature a mix of classical and modern compositions. The program is thoughtfully curated by Mr. Kevin Castelo, the FEU DBC Artistic Director and a graduate of Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, and Mr. Koowie Relevo, an alumnus of the Corps who now serves as Assistant Artistic Director.

This special event also coincides with the 75th anniversary of the historic FEU Auditorium, which, during the 1950s, functioned as the Cultural Center of the Philippines. The venue itself adds another layer of prestige to the concert, providing an opportunity for both long-time supporters and new audiences to enjoy the FEU DBC's dynamic energy and passion in an iconic setting.
