SNB Theater Festival Celebrates 10th Anniversary with 6 Original Musicals!
The SNB Theater Festival is back with a bang this October 24-27, 2024 at the Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez (Black Box Theater) as it marks its 10th Anniversary. Known for its commitment to championing aspiring talents and underdogs, this year’s festival promises to be even more exciting with the inclusion of newbie songwriters alongside playwrights, directors, and performers.
A Milestone Celebration
Celebrating a decade of nurturing creative talents, the SNB Theater Festival is expanding its platform to welcome 30 prospective songwriters, who have submitted a total of 80 original compositions. Only one song from each composer will be selected, and these songs will be turned into 15-minute musicals by six new directors, who were chosen from a pool of 40 candidates. The festival will showcase six original musicals, brought to life by actors selected from 70 auditionees.
Guiding these new creatives on their artistic journey are celebrated composer and sound designer TJ Ramos and playwright Juan Ekis, ensuring each musical is refined and ready to captivate audiences.
