Dulaang Unibersidad ng Pilipinas (Dulaang UP) kicks off its 47th theater season this November with the powerful premiere of Nanay Bangis , running from November 15 through December 1, 2024. This production adapts Bertolt Brecht’s classic Mother Courage and Her Children , transforming it into a deeply Filipino narrative about loss, resilience, and survival during the conflict between the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) and the Philippine Army from 1971 to 1981.
